Having set his sight on gaining admission to the celebrated IISc, Prathyush centered at the challenging Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY), success in which assured him an automated entry on this premier institute of pure sciences in Bengaluru. It is this same self belief that has observed Prathyush get selected to constitute India at the International Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics (IOAA).
A student of Canara PU College, Prathyush, the elder kid of Prasanth P Poduval and Sunitha Poduval, is amongst five Indian students who will constitute the country at IOAA-2018 that might be held in Beijing later in November. He is the only student from South India within the Indian crew, who will participate on this world olympiad.
