MUMBAI: A 91-year-old woman died on Monday evening after a tree department fell on her injuring her grievously.
The incident happened near Banganga in Walkeshwar area. The woman was once rushed to the sanatorium but succumbed to her injuries.
The incident happened round 5pm when she was once sitting outdoor a grocery shop.
"The old lady used to come for a walk in the area and would sit on a chair outside the grocery shop everyday. On Monday I was inside my shop when I heard branch crashed on her. On coming out I found her grievously hurt, " mentioned one of the vital shopkeepers.
