The pre-wedding festivities of the most expected wedding ceremony in B-town have begun! Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja, who will soon tie the knot in a non-public rite on Tuesday, have begun their sangeet and mehendi rite, with their households and closest friends via their aspect.
Dressed to perfection in sunglasses of ivory and gold, the bride-to-be and her handsome groom arrived well in time to get the celebrations started at the venue- Sonam’s maternal aunt Kavita Singh’s Bandra bungalow. While Sonam appeared resplendent in a Chikankari lehenga via Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla Couture paired with heavy gold and pearl jewellery, Anand appeared rushing in a matching coloured kurta paired with a Nehru jacket and a big emerald broché. According to the designers, Sonam’s ensemble took more than one groups of artisans eighteen months to finish!
While the groom-to-be was once among the first to reach, father of the bride Anil Kapoor wasn’t too a long way in the back of, adopted via son Harshvardhan Kapoor.
Sonam’s cousins, Anshula Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor arrived taking a look beautiful in white lehengas, maintaining with the theme of the rite. Also taking a look lovely in custom put on was once Shanaya Kapoor.
