CHENNAI: A 25-year-old theft suspect, who used to be nabbed for wondering by the Neelankarai police, died on Friday morning. The deceased has been known as V Anthony, a resident of Ezhil Nagar in Perumbakkam.
Anthony used to be booked in no less than 8 cases, together with theft cases. Police said Anthony have been abandoned by his circle of relatives when he used to be a young person. After that he began to commit crimes, consistent with them.
The police, who suspected Anthony's hand in a theft case, nabbed him on Thursday night time. It is claimed that he used to be taken to the Neelankarai police station. On Friday morning, he evolved health complications and used to be rushed to a non-public hospital the place docs declared him brought dead.
However, a senior police officer said Anthony have been ill after they had nabbed him. “He used to be taken without delay to hospital, the place he died. He used to be no longer taken to the station,” the officer said.
The frame used to be moved to the Royapettah Government Hospital for postmortem.
