LUDHIANA: Haryana police on Friday claimed to have cracked a double homicide case with the arrest of two accused from Ludhiana district.
Satte of Billochpur and Sulledin of Pirgadhi had been at the run after allegedly taking pictures Palwal market committee’s former chairman Santraj and his cousin Birpal, a Haryana police spokesperson said.
The duo — carrying a praise of Rs 50,000 every — was arrested on Thursday, he added.
Santraj and Birpal had been sitting at a shop in Billochpur village on December five, 2017, when Satte and Sulledin got here in a automobile with their associate Dhan Singh and opened hearth at the two over an outdated grudge.
A case was registered at Hasanpur police station, the spokesperson said, adding that nine others have already been arrested within the case.
Satte and Sulledin also are wanted in numerous cases of homicide, attempt to homicide, theft and loot.
