Coimbatore: The district on Thursday won its percentage of seven,370 electronic balloting machines (EVMs) from the election commission. Meant for Coimbatore and Pollachi constituencies, the EVMs arrived in the town straight from the personal manufacturing corporate in Bengaluru.
The EVMs had been then locked inside of a robust room at the office of deputy director of health service at Race Course in the presence of district collector T N Hariharan and representatives of political events. The strong room shall be safe by way of police officers round the clock.
