HYDERABAD: Chief minister Ok Chandrashekar Rao on Friday steered Prime Minister Narendra Modi to switch the Bison Polo Ground and Gymkhana grounds belonging to the defence ministry to the state govt for building of a brand new Telangana secretariat complicated.
In a memorandum submitted to the Prime Minister all over his meeting in New Delhi, Chandrashekar Rao who discussed 10 issues that had to be taken care of out, additionally asked that the Centre sanction ?20,000 cr for the ?80,000 cr Kaleshwaram irrigation and consuming water undertaking. The CM used to be accompanied by chief secretary S Ok Joshi.
During the meeting with the PM, the chief minister identified that the Telangana govt had asked the ministry of defence for switch of defence lands - Bison Polo Ground and Gymkhana Grounds- in Secunderabad for building of latest Secretariat development, Strategic Road Development Projects (NH 44 and SH 1) and also switch of seven.58 acre of defence land (net area) for building of six-lane choice highway proposed in lieu of Gough Road.
