HC to hear case against Yogi on July 4

ALLAHABAD: Allahabad High Court on Friday adjourned the listening to of a petition challenging dismissal of a felony complaint case filed towards the then MP Yogi Adityanath at Maharajganj district courtroom.
Hearing a revision petition filed towards Talat Aziz, a lady leader of Samajwadi Party, Justice Saumitra Dayal Singh fastened July 4 as the following date of listening to.


It is claimed that a meeting was organized by way of Talat Aziz in Maharajganj on February 10, 1999. The then MP of Gorakhpur, Yogi Adityanath, reached the meeting place and created disturbance, which ultimately led to violent clashes, it's additional alleged.


It is also alleged that throughout the violence, police head constable Satya Prakash, who was safety guard of Talat Aziz, had died because of gun shot accidents.


Subsequently, an FIR was lodged by way of Talat Aziz at Kotwali Maharajganj towards Yogi and several unnamed persons.


Subsequently, the subject was passed over to CB-CID for investigation, which closed the subject by way of submitting final record.
