Ignou to open study centres in 11 major jails in Odisha

BHUBANESWAR: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) will open study centres at 11 primary jails of the state to supply schooling to jail inmates. The college is already providing this provider at five jails within the state, mentioned professional sources.
Ignou Bhubaneswar regional centre assistant director Santosh Kumar Panigrahi mentioned his college will provide unfastened schooling to the inmates. "We are planning to provide 18 certificate courses to the inmates," he added.
