KOLKATA: If you are making plans to book rooms at executive hotels to your next shuttle, you’ll must make choice plans. Most of the 42 state vacationer hotels will be close from July to September as the government plans to renovate them.


Rs 100 crore has been allotted for the challenge under which the tourism division plans to upgrade its hotels to three-star houses in a bid to cater to tourists better. Once the hotels are in a position, they are going to be on a par with the most efficient lodges within the state. “Even the staffers are being trained to maintain international tourists in a better manner in order that there is not any resentment amongst visitors,” the official stated.


Bookings had already been closed for probably the most hotels, a state official stated. The executive plans to renovate 10 hotels by July, the paintings for which has already started. For the rest, paintings will start by mid-July.


An official stated they deliberate to complete the renovation by September, prior to the Durga Puja rush kicked in. The official added that now, bookings for hotels in north Bengal were open for early July. But from this week, it would be stopped for a few of them, he stated.
