Hiremath instructed TOI, “I came to this town from my native Pala village in Mundagod to earn a livelihood 20 years ago. I learnt yoga and later joined the Brahamakumaris Ashram at Mount Abu for religious enlightenment. I was educating yoga there for a couple of years and then returned to Hubballi due to some issues in my circle of relatives.”

“Then, I went to Bangaluru in 2014 where I taught yoga to four-five batches at Nagarbhavi, Tunganagar, Machohalli and different spaces daily. But, I met with an twist of fate on November, 11, 2017. A speeding lorry hit my two-wheeler from the rear on Magadi Road and I misplaced my both legs. After staying at a clinic for a month, I came back to Hubballi. Now, I've got Jaipur synthetic limbs and am in a position to stroll with the enhance of a cane,” he stated.

“My commitment to yoga has not died down. I began educating yoga to people in spite of having misplaced my legs. I train Ashtanga Yoga, Pranayama, Suryanamaskar, Janusirasana, Halasana and different facets of yoga by way of sitting on a chair now. Sometimes, I train a person and let him to teach others,” stated Hiremath, who is now staying together with his sister at Vidyangar. He teaches yoga at Rambapuri Kalyan Mantap free of cost.
