HYDERABAD: The names of various clinical schools from Telangana, lacking from the Medical Counselling Committee’s (MCC) record, will probably be added to its database by means of June 23 and made to be had all through the second one segment of counselling. This used to be introduced by means of Dr Ok Ramesh Reddy, director of Medical Education (DME) of Telangana, on Tuesday.
The MCC is the body that conducts the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test or NEET-UG Counselling for all India quota of 15 per cent.
“The officers informed that the record of principals with touch main points of Telangana weren't incorporated in their database and cited it as a reason for no longer sending passwords. We have submitted all of the required main points and MCC has up to date its database. They will probably be sending passwords to all of the schools by means of June 23 and our colleges will probably be incorporated in the second one segment of counselling,” said Reddy who, together with the primary of Osmania Medical College, Dr Nagender, had travelled to New Delhi to fulfill the Director General of Health Services, MCC to find out in regards to the ‘lacking’ schools from the state.
“There is no need to panic. There won’t be any lack of seats and even the ones students who've opted for other schools can shift to our colleges in the second one segment,” Reddy added. The officers said MCC promised to offer them everlasting person IDs and passwords and said that there won’t be any drawback someday.
Earlier, due to a technical error, 5 out of 7 executive schools from the state went lacking from the MCC record creating panic amongst students and their oldsters.
While Gandhi Hospital and ESI seemed on the record, Osmania, Kakatiya, and clinical schools from Nizamabad, Mahbubnagar, Adilabad together with the newly opened faculty at Siddipet did not feature on it.
