HYDERABAD: Despite civil supplies commissioner Akun Sabharwal serving suspension notices at the honest value retail outlets dealers with a warning that they would be got rid of and their licences could be revoked, the ration dealers have made up our minds to go forward with their strike from July 1 and bring to an end provide of subsidy rice thru honest value retail outlets to 85 lakh beneficiaries.

When contacted, Telangana ration dealers chief Nayikoti Raju instructed TOI that there was once no rethinking at the indefinite strike from July 1. “Even we don't want to inconvenience the PDS rice beneficiaries. But the TRS govt has left us and not using a different option. For over a 12 months, now we have been pleading with the government to seem into our calls for. It could also be mentioned Akun Sabharwal said women from the self-help groups could be tasked with the distribution of subsidy rice thru honest value retail outlets.
