LUDHIANA: Defence minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Friday said the state governments have nonetheless no longer given their consent to bring petrol and diesel beneath GST, but Union minister of petroleum, Dharmendra Pradhan, is retaining discussions with the oil corporations to chalk out alternative ways to bring down fuel costs.
