Cop's wife shouts slogans at Mantralaya, held

MUMBAI: Yashashree Patil, the president of Maharashtra State Police Wives Association, was detained at Mantralaya on Thursday after she shouted slogans, a police reputable said.

Patil, herself the spouse of a policeman, visited the state secretariat to submit an software about some long-pending calls for, the officer said.


After filing the applying, she went to the 3rd ground of Mantralaya and started shouting "Vande Mataram" and "Jai Kisan', he said.


Police on safety duty detained her and she was let off after enquiry, the officer added.
