Experimental stop for Antyodaya bi-weekly express trains at Kasaragod station

MANGALURU: Palakkad department has provided following trains with temporary stoppage at Kasaragod railway station from July 6 to January 5, 2019 on an experimental basis. This follows widespread public demand for the stoppage on the station.

Service of educate 16355 Kochuveli-Mangaluru junction Antyodaya bi-weekly categorical educate will depart Kochuveli at 9.25pm on Thursday and Saturday and arrive at Mangaluru junction at 9.15am on Friday. A two-minute stop from 7.48am has been provided at Kasaragod station on Friday/Sunday.


Service of educate 16356 Mangaluru junction-Kochuveli Antyodaya bi-weekly categorical educate will depart Mangaluru junction at 8pm on Fridays/Sundays and succeed in Kochuveli at eight.15am on Saturday/Mondays. This educate will stop at Kasaragod station for two mins from eight.43pm on Friday/Sunday.


TRAINS CANCELLED/REGULATED


Due to engineering work over Kannur-Mahe for 20 working days from July 2 to 28, apart from Sunday/Wednesday, following changes had been made in operation of trains originating and passing through Salem department all over the above period.


Accordingly, educate 56323 Coimbatore- Mangaluru junction fast passenger can be partly cancelled between Shoranur and Kannur and educate 56324 Mangaluru junction – Coimbatore junction fast passenger can be partly cancelled between Kannur and Shoranur. Train 22609 Mangaluru Junction-Coimbatore junction will arrive at Coimbatore junction 30 mins behind time table.
