NEW DELHI: Stepping up his assault at the Modi government for its failure to give protection to the interests of Dalits, Congress president Rahul Gandhi has directed the celebration's Scheduled Castes department to expose the "deteriorating condition of Dalits under the current political climate".


Rahul's assault issues to the "inaction of BJP governments in states" - Uttar Pradesh particularly - the place a large number of incidents of assaults on Dalits and spiritual minorities have surfaced. Rahul also said Congress's SC department must examine contemporary circumstances of violence against Dalits the place the state had did not act against the perpetrators and take up the problem on "all relevant platforms".
