MUMBAI: The Maharashtra govt will bear an annual burden of Rs 1,314 crore for paying 50 in line with cent charges of scholars of medical, engineering and other skilled courses whose circle of relatives source of revenue is not up to Rs eight lakh a yr, a minister said on Saturday.

"The Backward Class Commission has started work on a sample survey (to resolve whether the Marathas are eligible for quota). About two lakh packages were won.
