LUDHIANA: Thieves struck at two pharmacies on Barewal Road and escaped with money and medicines price lakhs of rupees early on Wednesday.
A passerby called up the landlord of Ambay Medical Store after finding its shutter locks broken and medicines strewn at the floor. “The board outside my shop has my telephone quantity. After the passerby apprised me of the incident, I rushed to the shop at 6.35am and found drugs and Rs 30,000 missing from the protected. The burglars additionally took away the recordings of the CCTV cameras put in on the pharmacy,” stated the shop proprietor, Rajnesh Verma.
