Allahabad department of North Central Railways (NCR) is all set to release the cellular app wherein one can book paper ticket and save their valuable time ready in the long queues at the ticket window.
The cellular software, developed via CRIS, may also be downloaded through window store or Google play store following which a passenger can book platform ticket, unreserved ticket, season ticket and many others.
PRO, Allahabad department, SK Gupta knowledgeable that after downloading the application a passenger can register himself via giving the main points of cellular number, title, town, nearest railway station, class, type of tickets, selection of passengers and course of journey. After the registration of the passenger, a Rail-wallet can be generated on 0 balance.
At present the facility of paper ticket is being equipped at the stations of the Allahabad Division and seeing the reaction, it'll be equipped for the stations of the other divisions too, he added.
"Before starting up the adventure, the passenger should take the printout of the booked ticket from the ATVM (automatic ticket vending machine) of the relating to station failing which the passenger could be handled as without ticket”, stated Gupta.
