Twitter bids goodbye to former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee

Former Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee died on Thursday at the age of 93.


Vajpayee's death was introduced by way of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) clinic where he was admitted on June 11 with various ailments. "It is with profound grief that we inform about the sad demise of former Prime Minister of India, Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, at 05.05pm," the AIIMS mentioned in a statement.

The clinic mentioned his condition was strong for the ultimate nine weeks, however "unfortunately, it deteriorated over the last 36 hours and he was put on life support systems."

As the inside track of his loss of life unfold, condolences began pouring in from all quarters.



















Vajpayee was three times elected the prime minister between 1996 and 1999 and was the one non-Congress prime minister to complete the whole term of 5 years, from 1999 to 2004.
