UNITED NATIONS: US Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley accused Russia on Monday of "cheating" on UN sanctions on North Korea and demanded it forestall.
"Its violations are not one-offs. They are systematic," Haley instructed the 15-member council. "The United States has evidence of consistent and wide-ranging Russian violations."
UN political views chief Rosemary DiCarlo instructed the council that whilst there were some recent positive tendencies, "there continue to be signs the DPRK (North Korea)is maintaining and developing its nuclear weapons and ballistic missile programmes."
