NEW DELHI: Amid a upward push within the #MeToo movement in India, the federal government is mulling formation of staff of ministers to seem into the lacunae in law on sexual harassment, a government supply stated on Wednesday.
The proposal comes days after girls and kid development minister Maneka Gandhi proposed formation of a criminal panel to seem into the criminal and institutional framework in place for dealing with lawsuits of sexual harassment, including some of the lawsuits if required, and advise the ministry on the best way to support those.

MJ Akbar who resigned as minister of state for external affairs, movie director Subhash Ghai, Sajid Khan, Rajat Kapoor and actor Alok Nath are among those accused of sexual misconduct.
