THANE: A huge stock of 250 gelatine sticks and detonators had been seized and a 40-year-old man used to be arrested through the Mumbra police on Tuesday.
The police mentioned that they had won a tip off that a consignment of detonators used to be going to be delivered in Diva. Cops dressed in undeniable garments laid a lure. They then intercepted an autorickshaw and seized the detonators and gelatin sticks. The accused has been recognized as Gulabsingh Solanki. On wondering, the accused began giving evasive replies.
The police suspect that the racket w as being operated from Rajasthan. Solanki has been arrested and used to be produced ahead of a Justice of the Peace’s court docket who remanded him to judicial custody. The law enforcement officials have sent the seized samples for checking out.
