VADODARA: A 20-year-old labourer was arrested in reference to homicide of tribal lady who was killed in her sleep at Chhotaudepur. The accused had chopped off her head on November 26.
Accused Chhagan Rathwa was arrested on Wednesday from his house in Bhorda village. During interrogation he admitted that he had killed Reshli Rathwa (50) when she was sleeping inside of her house. When the police officers asked him what he had finished together with her head, he told police that he had dug a pit in Orsang River and concealed it there. Police recovered Reshli’s head from where which the accused had described.
Cops said that Rathwa isn't divulging the cause of killing Reshli, nevertheless it being suspected that the accused can have branded the woman as witch and killed her. A police official said that they've two-day custody of Rathwa from a local courtroom during to interrogate him.
