NEW DELHI: Numerous staff of The Energy and Resources Institute (Teri) have demanded elimination of the chairman of its Governing Council, Ashok Chawla, on flooring of a chargesheet filed against him through CBI. However, the Council, the topmost decision-making frame of think-tank, has refused to sack him, announcing he gained’t be removed at this level simply on the basis of a CBI chargesheet.
The CBI had in July filed a chargesheet within the Aircel-Maxis deal case against 18 other folks together with Chawla who may be the chairman of the National Stock Exchange.
