HYDERABAD: A 14-year-old pupil was once booked for recording movies of women bathing at a hostel in Madhapur. In a tab (pill) seized from the accused, police have found over three,000 movies and pictures of women.
On Tuesday, police received a complaint from a 22-year-old pupil, who remains at a personal girls’s hostel in Madhapur. The complainant alleged that the 14-year-old boy, who lives in a building adjacent to her hostel, was once recording movies of women staying in the hostel while they were taking tub.
The factor came to mild when one of the most girls from the hostel noticed the boy recording a video in a tab from his building. Alerted through the women, others from the hostel went to the building and caught the boy red-handed, police stated.
The boy was once then passed over to police along with the tab containing a couple of movies and pictures of women taking tub. “The boy is a category IX pupil and his house is adjacent to the women’s hostel. From his bathroom window, he may peep into the toilet of women’s hostel, which is hardly a metre away. The boy started video-recording the women in his tab,” ACP, Madhapur, N Shyam Prasad Rao, stated.
Police stated there were over three,000 movies and pictures in the tab seized from the juvenile. “We have sent the tab to forensic lab for choice of evidence and to look if the movies or pictures have been shared with any person. A case was once booked underneath Section 354-C (voyeurism) of the IPC,” DCP, Madhapur, A Venkateswara Rao, stated.
Police stated that the teenager in warfare with law could be produced ahead of the Juvenile Justice Board.
