Court denies bail to only arrested accused

Vadodara: An area court docket here denied bail to Dilip Patel, who was arrested for his alleged involvement in embezzling belongings of NRI lady Lopa Dave, on Saturday.

Patel had sought bail claiming that he was booked in the case at the same time as there was no prima facie case towards him as he's a broker and no longer an actual property broker and the complainant had registered the plaint towards him due to animosity. He also informed the court docket that after police officers had produced him earlier than the court docket of leader judicial Justice of the Peace, police was denied his custody.


Police submitted an affidavit opposing Patel’s bail plea. The further public prosecutor Ramesh Gianchandani while arguing towards the bail plea, stated that Patel cannot be thought to be only a broker because the sale deed of the disputed belongings mentions him as a purchaser. He also pointed out that the details of belongings and the photograph discussed in the sale deed are of complainant’s different belongings which raises suspicion in all of the case. “Besides the applicant many different individuals could have also been concerned in the case and it looks as if a conspiracy to embezzle homes of the complainant in her absence,” he said.tnn
