GURUGRAM: A 60-year-old farmer was shot at by way of 3 youths on a farm in Tajnagar village on Farrukhnagar-Helimandi Road.
Some bullet shells also hit a 35-year-old girl, a resident of Delhi, who was accompanying the accused.
On listening to gunfire, farmers operating in within sight fields reached the spot and rushed the injured to health center. However, the accused fled on their bikes.
The farmer’s situation is critical but the girl is strong, consistent with doctors. Om Prakash, a resident of Tajnagar, has got 5 bullet wounds in his stomach and legs. He is being treated within the extensive care unit of the Rockland Hospital, IMT Manesar.
The girl who was injured in her leg and a few other frame portions is being treated in a private health center in Farrukhanagar.
Police mentioned that the farmer was no longer are compatible for giving his commentary but however an FIR was registered against 3 persons.
The accused, Deepak, Manish and Pawn, are citizens of Tajnagar village. The girl is from the same village however married to a Delhi resident and lives in Najafgarh, consistent with police.
Police mentioned that the woman had come to the village in a teach from Delhi on Saturday afternoon. One of the accused is allegedly her good friend and they, along with two others, were visiting a homestead in the middle of a farm when Om Prakash reached there. A brawl ensued, following which the farmer was shot at, 5 instances.
The girl was allegedly injured whilst seeking to stop the accused from firing on the famer.
ACP (Pataudi) Beer Singh, Farrukhnagar crime unit head inspector Om Prakash, and other members of the crime crew visited the spot after receiving details about the firing and recovered empty bullet shells and the woman’s slipper from the crime scene.
Surjeet, the farmer’s brother, has lodged a complaint within the case. The 3 accused had been booked beneath IPC sections 323 (inflicting hurt), 307 (homicide attempt), 452 (house trespassing), 34 (common purpose) and sections 25-54-59 of the Arms Act on the Farrukhnagar police station.
“We are investigating. A lady police officer is these days questioning the injured girl but the farmer is still no longer are compatible to give his commentary. Meanwhile, we are accomplishing raids to nab the accused and hopefully, the whole picture will likely be transparent quickly,” mentioned sub inspector Devinder Kumar, the extra SHO of the Farrukhnagar police station.
