Surat: A department bench of high court docket comprising Justice Harsha Devani and Justice AP Thaker gave ad-interim reduction to Federation of Gujarat Weavers’ Welfare Association with regard to enter tax credit on December 26.
The weavers had approached the high court docket for ITC refund of Rs600 crore as the problem impacts 22 lakh of them within the nation. The high court docket stated if a weaver desires to say the ITC refund for August 01, 2018, he can do it beneath protest of unused lapsed credit from July 01, 2017 to July 31, 2018. A weaver should make an application together with ITC refund form and submit them to the government involved. At least, 35,000 weavers will likely be benefited by means of this meantime order.
