Jharkhand: Upbeat Congress announces grand rallies statewide next year

RANCHI: Upbeat over its victory in the byelection to the Kolebira state assembly seat less than per week in the past, the Jharkhand unit of Congress birthday party is about to ramp up its preparations for the upcoming Parliamentary and state assembly polls.


RPN Singh, the national-in-charge of Jharkhand unit of Congress on Thursday introduced that the birthday party will prepare rallies in five divisions of Jharkhand between January 14 and February 20 subsequent year and raise the pitch in opposition to BJP led NDA governments on the Center and in Jharkhand.


Singh mentioned the rallies were scheduled in Chandankyari (Bokaro), Gumla, Deoghar, Palamu and Hazaribag. He wired that senior leaders from Congress’ nationwide management and political heavyweights from other states shall be invited to address these rallies. The rallies come amid speculations that Congress is gearing as much as contest solo in all 14 Parliamentary and 80 assembly seats right through subsequent year’s elections in case its proposed Mahagatbandhan (grand alliance) with JMM, JVM-P, RJD and different parties does now not take off.


“Congress will ramp up issues of para-teachers, starvation deaths, mob-lynching, unemployment, emerging selection of crimes in opposition to ladies, corruption, ill-effects of demonetization and GST and executive’s efforts to bring in regulations that will pave method for acquisition of tribal land,” he added.
