RAJKOT: A local Kharva group chief was once murdered and his frame set ablaze in Jamnagar.
Victim Haresh Tariawala’s frame was once found from the mattress of Rangmati River on Tuesday evening. Tariawala (38), was once lacking from his area in Setavad locality since Monday evening, police said.
“Tariawala was once first bludgeoned to death, then his frame was once set ablaze via the assailants whose identities and numbers are yet to be ascertained. By burning the frame, the accused had tried to smash the proof,” said K K Buval, inspector of Jamnagar A division police station.
Tariawala’s identity was once ascertained via his brother Kirit. The homicide has sparked a wave of anger among Kharva group participants who took out a rally from Setavad to Jamnagar superintendent of police (SP) administrative center. They submitted a memorandum to the deputy superintendent of police difficult speedy arrest of the killers.
Tariawala was once the former president of the local Kharva Samaj.
