No buses to new sectors, residents write to GMCBL

GURUGRAM: Residents of new sectors have requested Gurugram Metropolitan City Bus Ltd (GMCBL) to start a bus provider connecting the sectors with the primary city.
They have expressed their disappointment with the present routes, saying they do not quilt sectors 58 to 115, and no route has been proposed for the area.

According to citizens, new sectors have no public transport, not even auto-rickshaws, and hence they need bus connectivity greater than every other part of the town. One of the proposed routes attach the new sectors with the Dwarka Expressway, however citizens stated there is rarely any habitation across the limited-access highway as of now, and it's the different sectors, especially the ones between sectors 80 and 95, which want bus products and services.

“The absence of public transport in this part of Gurugram is a big concern for citizens, especially senior electorate. Their mobility is specific because of the loss of choices they usually really feel handicapped. A bus provider right here could be a major aid for all folks,” stated Shibashish Rudra, a resident of Sector 81.

GMCBL has decided to revisit its roadmap and, if required, return to the drawing board to know causes behind poor ridership at the two routes.
