Rajkot: The accused who had raped a six-year-old girl in Botad was arrested on Wednesday.
Police nabbed Kuldeepsinh Parmar (23) alias Arun, from his place of dwelling in Anand Dham Society on Gadhada Road in Botad.
Parmar had allegedly raped the lady in Matavadi locality of Botad within the afternoon of November 29.
“It was at the foundation of his cartoon and his cell phone location at the crime spot that Parmar was sooner or later nabbed,” said Harshad Mehta, Botad superintendent of police.
“After the crime, we had formed seven groups consisting of 150 officials. The groups were engaged in interrogating suspects, checking CCTV cameras, choice of name records of cellphones used at the time of crime to determine location of suspects and looking for them at the foundation of sketches of accused made at the foundation of description given by the survivor and other kids,” added Mehta.
On November 29, Parmar had approached the lady, who was taking part in with other kids, and lured her to accompany with him with the promise of having her kites. One of the lads taking part in with the lady additionally went in conjunction with her.
The accused took each, who're aged four, to a compound after which he sent the boy away and raped the lady. When the survivor returned house, she was bleeding from her non-public parts.
Her parents, each labourers, took her first to Sonavala Hospital in Botad and then to Sir T Hospital in Bhavnagar, where doctors confirmed that she was raped. The girl’s father then lodged a police complaint.
Parmar has been booked below Section 376 of the Indian Penal Code, relating rape and below Sections of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (Pocso) Act.
He was previous arrested for allegedly hanging a dummy candidate to look for the category X examination this yr. Parmar, who's a native of Sayla in Surendranagar district, works as a diamond worker in Botad.
