T'gana: Teen girl found dead in orphanage toilet

HYDERABAD: A 15-year-old woman was found lifeless in an orphanage in Alair space.


The woman, a category 9 pupil of JMJ English medium faculty, was found lifeless in the toilet of the orphanage referred to as 'Back To Back', where she were living for the past 5 years.


"The deceased's four room-mates woke up at around 4.30am on Friday and were studying in the hall. They said the girl woke up at around 6.30am and went to the washroom," said Alair sub-inspector Venkat Reddy. After some time, probably the most roomies found her lying unconscious within the washroom. She was rushed to a health center, where she was declared introduced lifeless. "Though her roommates suspect she might have fallen in the washroom, we have not seen any external injury marks on her body," added the police officer. A case of suspicious demise has been registered.


For somewhat some time now, orphanages within the city have been beneath the police scanner over deficient safety standards.
