DHARMASTHALA: Chief minister H D Kumaraswamy has nonetheless now not forgotten the June 27, 2011 brush with Lord Manjunatha, presiding deity of Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala due to a dare by means of then CM B S Yeddyurappa. The week preceding June 27 saw Yeddyurappa dare his bete noire Kumaraswamy come for an ‘aane pramana’ ahead of the presiding deity at Dharmasthala on fees that former sought political rapprochement with the latter.

He (Lord Manjunatha) sees the whole thing silently and offers people their just rewards, a incontrovertible fact that Yeddyurappa learnt the laborious method when he was once pressured to step down as CM within a month after ‘aane pramana’ even after Constitutional businesses and establishments cleared him of any flawed doing,” Kumaraswamy added.
Incidentally, Yeddyurappa on that wet June day more than seven years ago had refrained from answering any questions from the media.
