CBSE Board exam 2019: Tips to beat exam stress

BHUBANESWAR: With barely a couple of days left for the forums, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has cautioned folks and scholars against paying heed to rumours, faux information and scaremongering. It has asked them to bring cases of incorrect information being unfold to its understand.

"(You) must avoid believing in or forwarding rumours. Any suspicious activity/rumours should be brought to the notice of the parents, the guardians and the CBSE on the email id " the board wrote in a letter to parents, in which it sought their beef up to make the checks a smooth enjoy for children.

The board has also recommended folks to encourage their children, as an alternative of transmitting their pressure and anxiety to their wards. "Encourage them to believe strongly in their choice of subjects, levels of understanding, the progress they have made in the acquisition of knowledge and their evolution as young citizens. We request you to help them trust themselves and their potential, have faith in their exploration beyond artificial boundaries of subjects and become all that they dream of," the letter read.

The board has also asked folks against congregating in front of the examination centres or making an attempt to enter them whilst the exams are on.

The CBSE has also began pre-exam counselling for college kids and parents to assist them conquer anxiety. This began on February 1 and will proceed until April four. Apart from providing counselling over the telephone by means of principals and mavens, the CBSE has for the primary time uploaded a comprehensive audio-visual presentation titled 'Knowing Children Better' on its website online.

The presentation offers with the stories and problems children face, and gives strategies to deal with them.
