“The decision was taken to assist the farmers to buy the rural inputs like seeds and fertilizer previous to starting of the season as agricultural actions for Kharif and Rabi seasons start on Akshaya Tritiya and Nuakhai respectively,” said Padhi.
Ahead of polls, the state cupboard also authorized restructuring of the Odisha Elementary Education Service cadre to offer more promotional alternatives to lecturers and headmasters running in more than a few primary faculties. The decision would assist greater than 72,000 elementary lecturers and headmasters.
The restructuring will supply scope for no less than 3 promotions—senior trainer, graduate trainer and senior headmaster—for the elementary lecturers. The decision can have an annual monetary burden of Rs 454 crore at the state coffer.
Restructuring of the Odisha Engineering Services cadre has been regarded as through the state cupboard. The decision will remove stagnation in promotion. The decision will benefit round 3,130 engineers serving in more than a few state govt departments.
Among others, the cupboard authorized the Dynamic Assured Career Progression scheme for doctors running with the state govt. The decision will supply them 3 assured promotions after seven years, 14 years and 2l years in their carrier counted from the direct entry degree.
Keeping in view of public pastime, the cupboard cleared some amendments to the Odisha Fire Prevention and Fire Safety Rules. The cupboard also cleared incentives for departments using Odia for their official communication.
