Thane: Ticket collector among 3 killed after falling off local trains

THANE: Three persons, including a price tag collector, Friday died after falling off crowded suburban trains in two separate mishaps here, the Railway Police mentioned.

In the primary incident, Arun Gaikwad, a TC with the Central Railway, fell off a local educate at Umbarmali, a station on the Kalyan-Kasara section of the suburban community, and suffered severe accidents, they mentioned.

The injured TC used to be rushed to the Sahapur rural health facility, where docs declared him brought lifeless, the police mentioned.


Gaikwad used to be on accountability and checking tickets on the educate when the mishap came about, they mentioned.


In the second one mishap which came about at about 10.30 am, two commuters died after falling from a dashing suburban educate close to Mumbra railway station, the police mentioned.


The duo, Maved Shaikh (20) and Mohammad Imran Shaikh (24), citizens of Mumbra the town in Thane district, died right away, they mentioned.
