MUNGER: Police have seized 23 unassembled pistols in Bihar's Munger district Saturday, a senior police officer stated.
Superintendent of police Gaurav Mangla stated police seized 10 pieces of semi made pistols and portions to make country made pistols from two persons driving a bike all the way through regimen checking of automobiles near Purabsarai police outpost in the early hours of Saturday.
The police also seized the motorcycle, the SP stated, including that the 2 arrested persons are each citizens of Munger district.
On the basis of the information provided by the 2 arrested persons, police raided a area at Bakarpur village below Mufassil police station space and seized 13 pieces of semi made pistols, SP stated
Police have lodged FIRs in each instances and further investigations were on, the SP added.
