JAIPUR: The political circles are agog with Congress state management’s overtures to Rashtriya Loktantrik Party (RLTP) chief and MLA Hanuman Beniwal. The ruling party had ruled out pre-poll alliance with any party up to now. Its bonhomie with the young Jat chief in past few days has fuelled speculations in the power corridor.
The Congress management's somersault is being noticed because the brinkmanship of chief minister Ashok Gehlot, who's planning his son Vaibhav Gehlot’s political debut from Jodhpur. According to political observers, Gehlot is seeking an working out with the Jat chief whose community has a sizeable presence in Jodhpur.
