PANAJI: Cashew saplings planted via tribals of Ziltawadi in Canacona have started flowering inside the first 12 months of planting.
This is the first time the Ziltawadi tribals have ventured into cultivation of the plantation crop.
“Cashew saplings takes no less than six to seven years to yield fruit, however a graft can achieve this inside 3 years.
