PANAJI: In view of the protest from electorate to the proposed reducing down of a cluster of five bushes traditionally known as ‘Ambeani’ within the village of Colvale for widening of NH 66, shipping minister Ramkrishna Dhavalikar mentioned that the bushes may not be felled.


“The developmental works are going on in a big method on the direction from Patradevi to Karaswada. People have raised issues, alternatively, that we are going to lower the bushes close to Colvale. Chief minister Manohar Parrikar, Union minister Nitin Gadkari and I've stored bushes on the Guirim stretch previously so we can be sure that the bushes here will be secure as smartly,” he mentioned.
