Goa University to boost its online presence

PANAJI: On a challenge to support its visible footprint in cyberspace, Goa University (GU) has invited applications from social mediaJ consultants to control its online content material.

“We want to have a powerful presence on all social media platforms so that the public will also be made acutely aware of the university’s activities. We are going to extend our reach to Facebook and Instagram, besides the GU site,” mentioned Goa University registrar, Y V Reddy.


The university is in search of candidates with a post-graduate stage in any branch of data from a recognised university and with established hyperlinks with print and social media. “The advisor will engage more actively with stakeholders by sharing knowledge and analysis emerging from Goa University, collaborate with current projects similar to our site to disseminate news for higher visibility on social media platforms, support the university’s visible footprint in cyberspace and educate personnel and students to generate content material for stakeholders,” a notification issued by GU on its site reads.


While university officers have declined to remark at the choice of applications won thus far, Reddy mentioned, “There are not any plans to extend the ultimate date of applications, as of now.”
