Manohar Parrikar Demise: Goa board postpones tomorrow’s HSSC exams

NEW DELHI: The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has postponed the HSSC examination in Banking, Computer Science, Logic and Cooperation because of the dying of Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar. As per the new time table, the tests will likely be conducted on March 29, 2019.


Manohar Parrikar, who were suffering from pancreatic ailment, has passed away in Panaji on Sunday i.e., March 17, 2019. President Ram Kovind introduced the dying of Parrikar via a tweet.


“Extremely sorry to listen to of the passing of Shri Manohar Parrikar, Chief Minister of Goa, after an sickness borne with fortitude and dignity. An epitome of integrity and determination in public lifestyles, his service to the folks of Goa and of India will not be forgotten” - wrote President Kovind on his twitter.
