Rajkot: Rajkot Municipal Corporation (RMC) found itself mired in a row after some garden department employees leaked a faux scheme of tree plantation in the identify of municipal commissioner in spite of the style code of habits being in drive.
Even as municipal commissioner Banchhanidhi Pani clarified that there was no such scheme into account, opposition Congress sought motion towards the responsible from the Election Commission (EC).
Some employees started circulating on social media that RMC is planning to implement as scheme from April 1 through which any resident can request the civic frame to plant tree in his/her premise. RMC will plant the tree as in keeping with the selection and requirement of the resident freed from price and also take care of that tree.
When contacted, Pani stated, “There isn't any such scheme into account. Summer season has started and plantation program normally is taken up during monsoon.”
