COIMBATORE: Five scholars finding out in personal faculties here had been arrested on Wednesday morning for getting and promoting ganja.
The scholars had been caught from two other places and had been discovered possessing 2.25 kg of the drug.
Police won a best off declaring that those boys had been dealing in ganja for the past three hundred and sixty five days and had been promoting it to many of their school mates. They had been also informed that the boys had been bringing back a stash of ganja into the town on Wednesday.
The Singanallur police mentioned the five boys, three mechanical engineering scholars, one computer science engineering scholar and one psychology scholar, had been buying ganja in bulk, sharing it among themselves and promoting it to their school mates at triple the prices.
While the police caught three scholars at SIHS Colony at the back of airport highway at 11am, two others had been caught from below Ondipudhur flyover. “We discovered one workforce sporting 1.1kg of ganja and some other workforce sporting 1.25 kg of ganja. They mentioned they buy it from a supplier in Palani. We are investigating into it,” mentioned a senior inspector at Singanallur station. “We want additional information and permission from seniors to go after the dealers in Palani,” he added.
