ALLAHABAD: The Allahabad sessions pass judgement on on Tuesday rejected the bail software of Rajendra Bihari Lal, vice-chancellor of Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences (SHUATS), Naini, in reference to a multi-crore financial institution fraud case.
Earlier, Lal had surrendered before the trial court docket on April 15, taken into judicial custody and sent to jail after his software for intervening time bail was rejected through the court docket. He has been in jail since then.
Rejecting his bail software, ADJ (first) Ram Manohar Narain Mishra stated that bearing in mind the seriousness of the offence he cannot be launched on bail.
During the court docket court cases, the recommend for the applicant contended that there is no evidence in opposition to him, subsequently, he is entitled for bail.
However, district executive recommend (prison) Gulab Chandra Agrahri antagonistic the bail software, pronouncing that the applicant failed to discharge his duties as head of the establishment. Therefore, he is not entitled to bail.

However, it directed Lal to look before the trial court docket at Allahabad on April 15, 2019. The apex court docket further observed that if Lal so seems, the trial court docket might consider whether or not the petitioner is entitled to any relief of bail.
