Ambala: Four booked for snatching cash from truck driver

AMBALA: The police have booked 4 persons for snatching cash from a truck motive force.


On the complaint of Rakesh Saini, a resident of Shanti Bhawan, Saharanpur, the police have registered a case against the 4 accused, recognized as Jaidev and Johny of Thamber village; Gurwinder of Mullana village and Madan of Saha, underneath Section 379-B (snatching) of the Indian Penal Code at the Mullana police station.


Rakesh said in his complaint that on Sunday, he in conjunction with his family was once going against Mukerian, Punjab, in his truck to attend a marriage. At round 1am after they reached near Kalpi bridge, a black car came from at the back of and parked in entrance Rakesh's truck. Three youths alight from the auto and one in every of them came against the driving force's facet, while two went against the conductor's facet. The youths snatched Rs 12,000 from his brother's pocket and fled. "However, with the help of passersby, we managed to catch two of the accused, while two others escapes," stated Rakesh.
