Bhubaneswar: Railway traffic affected after train engine develops glitch

BHUBANESWAR: Passengers confronted difficulties after their trains were given stranded at other stations. A goods teach blocked the only line for round 4 hours on Koraput-Rayagada line because of technical snags developed in its engine at Keutaguda station in Rayagada district on Friday.

After this incident, Koraput-Vishakhapatnam DEMU was once stopped at Bhalumuska and Samaleswari Express halted at Shikarapai. Vishakhapatnam-Koraput DEMU was once stationed at Keutaguda railway station.


Railway body of workers modified the engine of the teach and restored the direction at round 1.30pm. Passengers stranded at small stations complained of lack of drinking water.
